Marshwood Eco Pod is a completed Roamify shipping-container conversion, created in partnership with the landowner and now operating as a highly rated woodland retreat in Bedfordshire.
Roamify built and owns the unit. By partnering with the landowner, the project demonstrates a model in which high-quality underused land can be combined with a bespoke Roamify conversion to create a distinctive accommodation asset.
Set within secluded woodland, the one-bedroom unit combines a contemporary converted-container shell with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living space, turning a compact footprint into an experience guests actively choose to stay in.

The interior is modern, beautifully decorated and very homely, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We actually really enjoyed that there was no TV, as it made the stay feel like a proper break away from normal life and gave us the chance to switch off and enjoy our surroundings. The only small thing to note is that there isn't an oven, but we used the air fryer to cook pizza and it worked perfectly fine for us!
